Between this Breath and the Next…

In this seemingly small space between breaths, there are actually a million worlds just waiting to be discovered-or perhaps there is no active anticipation-instead merely a “being” between-a perfect placement-a pause- a rest-an integral part of the whole process.

A Universe is there-the bird song that rises unbidden-the awakening of the morning light a magnificent symphony of perfection-a delicate pink sky that paints itself across the canvas of my vision today-the sound of the sea upon the sand below me-filling the space between this breath and the next-A completeness so profound-so beautiful.

The more I listen-the more I hear-the layers of energy peel back to expose the depth of the space between this breath and the next-and as the breath builds and the moments pass, the space between expands and exposes more in my willingness to see-to peel away the veils and open myself to the potential in this breath-I am gifted with unprecedented jewels of wonder and beauty-and in this space, this focus, my heart expands. I become unfettered in my imaginings and float amongst the petaled flowers of my fancy-a harmless, beautiful excursion of my Soul, and what a lovely sojourn it is-a gentle reminder of all that is possible-all that is available in this space between this breath and the next.

The darkness still sits in the hearts and minds of many, but for now, in this Universe between breaths, I bolster my energy, I recharge my batteries and I nourish my Heart. I remind my Heart that there is Beauty, and Wonder and Joy singing in my veins in spite of the darkness-regardless of the rage and violence that takes place as well.

So…in that space between this breath and the next, there is a resting place-a place of refuge and respite and restoration that is as close as my Heart…as close as my next Breath. In this space, I find Peace, I remember Peace and I am whole.

Between this Breath and the next, there is Trust-there is Faith-there is complete Perfection. There is a Universe and uncounted Galaxies and Stars-there is a pinpoint of Light and there is an explosion of a Super Nova-there is the Big Bang and the beginning of everything and there is profound stillness and Silence-The Universe is found here, between this Breath and the Next.
